Together with another alumni of Stanford’s Chief Wellness Officer Course class of 2021 she provides wellness and leadership coaching to the physicians at Penn Medicine.
Dr. Heimbeck was trained in Germany (MS in Psychology with a minor in Medicine from the University of Giessen) and The Netherlands (PhD in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University of Amsterdam) and has lived in the US since 2000.
“I have found coaching to provide insight into my interactions with other people and how to improve them. I have learned how to better evaluate my own attitudes and feelings as well as those of others to proactively improve communication and interactions. I appreciate that the experience is self-directed, allowing me to address the issues that are challenging me in the moment.”
